Christmas Lights Switch On 2024

An inaugural Winter Fair took place on 30 November organised on behalf of Pembs County Council, funded by the Welsh Government. Two live stages, one at the Quayside and the other at the Riverside Shopping Centre, together with a fireworks display contributed to the excitement in the run up to the Christmas Lights Switch on.

The annual Christmas Card competition was won by Elsie-May who received a framed copy of her card from the Town Council and a gift voucher presented jointly by the Riverside Shopping Centre and Pure West Radio. The Deputy Mayor, Cllr. Roy Thomas shared the stage with Elsie-May and Reuben Collins (of football and Love Island fame), Father Christmas and Sparkle the Elf to turn on the Christmas Lights for 2024.

The new pop up Christmas Grotto was an extra attraction.
