Haverfordwest Town Council is a statutory consultee on all planning applications within its area.

Pembs County Council firstly validates any planning application, sends it out for consultation to the statutory consultees and then after the consultations period is ended determines the application. This may be by Planning Committee or more often the decision is made by the Planning Officer concerned.

As a consultee, notifications of planning applications and planning decisions are discussed and recorded at Council Meetings. The Council then makes its response which contributes to the determination process.
